About Joliet, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Joliet, just outside of Chicago, is the county seat of Will County.  Though it has had some trade and industry hardships in prior years, the new millennium has seen a town revived.   The populace is around 40,000 and, with a temperate climate similar to that of Chicago, it can get pretty chilly in the winter and nice and hot in the summer.  The town is near enough to Chicago to reap the benefits of great healthcare and easy access to amenities but far enough that people can feel that they are out of the city and in a more relaxed, family-oriented environment.

There are lots of reasons that this town has become a family favorite. It is an ideal climates for families who want their children to experience all of the best of what each season has to offer. Most people who live here commute to work in neighboring cities, such as Chicago, and present day Joliet is a busy little suburb with a restored downtown area and attractions like Harrah’s Casino, as well as some lovely historical buildings and sites.

Scenes from the Kevin Bacon film, “Stir of Echoes” were filmed in town.  They were set within the Rialto Square Theatre in the center of downtown. It is often called “The Jewel of Joliet” and is absolutely beautiful and bursting with historic character that you simply can’t find just anywhere. If you find yourself in Joliet on a cold wintery day then ask someone the way to the Rialto. This beloved landmark is something everyone in town is proud to share.

In the spring and summer there is plenty to do around the town. The Dupage River Trail is a lovely way to spend a warm, pretty day.  The community has worked hard to expand and grow this lovely outdoor attraction.  It allows access to the riverfront for a lovely view as you walk, hike, run, or bike for people who enjoy being in nature and amongst wildlife.  It would also be ideal for a picnic or nature walk with your family.
